Screening: With Heartfelt Gratitude for the Painless Treatmen
With Heartfelt Gratitude for the Painless Treatment represents a rethinking and restaging of fact and fictions. Developed from an inherited collection of autographed photos featuring 1920s and 30s film stars that frequented the Berlin dental practice of her grandfather, Lewin’s film traces an archival journey; an artist’s journey; journeys inhabited with social, cultural and ethnic history.
